Quick Answers to Common Questions

Q: Do I need a lawn for the stork sign installation?

Yes! Our stork signs require a traditional residential lawn with unobstructed soil for proper installation. We can’t place signs in areas with rocks, concrete, mulch, flower beds, or thick landscaping, or near public utility boxes or structures. We drive a stake 10 inches into the ground to ensure stability. If you’re unsure about your lawn, feel free to contact us at 540-632-0323!

If you don’t have a traditional lawn or live in an apartment, we also offer personalized door hangers to announce your new baby!

Q: When should I reserve a stork sign?

We accept reservations for scheduled births and events. For scheduled deliveries, book in advance to secure your date. Contact us via phone or email with the baby’s expected due date to reserve your stork sign. Payment is required at the time of reservation. Once the baby arrives, simply notify us with the details. For surprise arrivals, call us as soon as the baby is born, and we’ll aim to set up the sign within 24 hours. If you’ve submitted the form, expect a call for confirmation and payment. If you haven’t heard from us, feel free to call us between our business times.

For stork yard signs for baby showers or sip-and-see events, advanced reservations are welcome! Payment is required at the time of reservation.

Q: How long can I rent the stork sign?

For birth announcements, our stork signs are available for a 7-day rental. For events, we offer a one-day rental. Contact us at 540-632-0323 for more details on renting a stork sign for your newborn.

Q: Where will you install the newborn announcement sign?

We’ll place the sign in your front yard, visible from the road. If you have a specific spot in mind, let us know before we arrive, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
